Pritam, Arijit Receive National Awards
NEW DELHI, (ANI) – Music composer Pritam was conferred with the National Film Award for Best Music Direction for the film ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’ on October 8 by President Droupadi Murmu at the 70th National Film Awards ceremony at Vigyan Bhawan here.
“I am very excited, it feels really good to be here for the National Awards. It feels great when we get love. It gives us pleasure when people like our work,” he said explaining that awards are a great motivator.
For singing his composition ‘Kesariya’ Arijit Singh was recognized as the best male playback singer. The romantic track, which quickly became a favorite among fans, has been praised for its touching lyrics and Singh’s soulful voice.
