RCB Thanks Anushka Sharma As Virat Kohli Celebrates IPL Triumph On Dance Floor

MUMBAI– Royal Challengers Bengaluru gave fans a glimpse of its IPL title celebrations by sharing a video of star batter Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma dancing after the franchise secured its second consecutive Indian Premier League championship.

RCB defeated Gujarat Titans by five wickets in the IPL 2026 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 31, becoming only the third franchise after Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians to successfully defend its IPL crown.

Sharing the video on its official social media platforms, the franchise wrote: “King Kohli’s masterclass on the dance floor. Pure vibes. Wholesome. And so much more. Anushka Sharma, thank you for being our Day 1.”

The video showed Kohli and Sharma joining teammates, family members and support staff during the post-match celebrations, with the couple dancing on the field after the victory.

Sharma, who attended the final in Ahmedabad, was seen cheering from the stands throughout the match before joining the celebrations after RCB clinched its first back-to-back IPL title.

Kohli, who remained unbeaten on 75 in the final, was also spotted wearing a T-shirt bearing the message, “One felt nice, we did it twice,” referencing RCB’s successful title defense.

RCB’s tribute to Sharma highlighted her long-standing support for both the franchise and Kohli over the years. (With IANS inputs)
