CYPRESS, CA – Royal, a Basmati rice brand owned by LT Foods, wrapped up its participation in the 2026 Major League Cricket season with fan events and partnerships with two league franchises.
The company was a premium partner of the San Francisco Unicorns and an associate partner of MI New York during the season, which concluded with the Major League Cricket final in Oakland on July 18. The Los Angeles Knight Riders won this year’s championship.
One of the company’s biggest fan events was a June 27 player meet-and-greet at New India Bazar in Santa Clara featuring members of the San Francisco Unicorns. More than 400 people attended, meeting players, taking photographs, collecting signed posters and sampling Royal biryani.
Royal also hosted activities at matches in Oakland and Dallas, where visitors participated in games, received product samples and personalized the company’s signature jute bags. Fans also searched for a branded cricket ball hidden inside a large inflatable bowl filled with imitation rice for a chance to win prizes.
The company also took part in the San Francisco Unicorns’ Family Day, where fans met players and children decorated Royal jute bags to take home.
“Season 4 marks another exciting chapter in a relationship that began with Major League Cricket’s very first season,” said Abhinav Arora, president of LT Foods Americas. He said the company plans to continue its partnership with the league as cricket grows in the United States.
Royal is produced by LT Foods, an Indian-origin global food company. According to the company, Royal is the top-selling Basmati and Sona Masoori rice brand in the United States and offers a range of Indian food products.
