Salman Khan, Others, Mourn Pradeep Rawat

MUMBAI-Bollywood star Salman Khan paid an emotional tribute to his friend and veteran actor Pradeep Rawat following his death, remembering the moments they shared during their long association.

On August 5, Salman shared a still from their film ‘Baaghi: A Rebel for Love’ on his Instagram Stories along with a heartfelt note that read, “Shared many good moments with you brother…May you rest in peace. (sic).”

Salman Khan and Pradeep Rawat worked together in the 1990 film ‘Baaghi: A Rebel for Love’, in which Rawat played the character Buddha while Salman starred as the protagonist, Saajan Sood.

Meanwhile, veteran actor Surendra Pal Singh also paid tribute to his ‘Mahabharat’ co-star Pradeep Rawat, sharing a video from the iconic television series and remembering his powerful portrayal of Ashwatthama.

Actor Riteish Deshmukh also mourned Rawat’s passing, describing him as “a true gentleman” whose laughter lit up every room, and extended his condolences to the veteran actor’s family.

Pradeep Rawat died on August 4 at the age of 74. According to reports, the veteran actor had been battling cancer, which had relapsed. (IANS)
