DOVER, DE – The Governor of Delaware has issued an official proclamation honoring Sadhguru for his global contributions as a spiritual leader, humanitarian, author, and environmental advocate.

The proclamation, signed by Governor Matthew Meyer and dated April 15, credits Sadhguru with inspiring millions worldwide through teachings rooted in yogic sciences and adapted for modern audiences. It highlights his efforts to make ancient spiritual practices accessible across cultures and generations.

State officials also pointed to his work through the Isha Foundation, a nonprofit that conducts yoga programs and community outreach initiatives globally.

Describing him as “one of India’s most influential citizens and a prominent spiritual leader of our time,” the proclamation underscores his contributions to environmental protection, rural development, and public health. His initiatives, including large scale tree planting and soil conservation campaigns, have drawn international attention.

The proclamation also recognizes Sadhguru’s impact in Delaware, citing local engagement around mindfulness, health, and environmental stewardship.
