Shah Rukh Khan, Bhansali To Make A New Film Together?

MUMBAI-Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is in advanced talks with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a romantic film in which he is expected to play an age-appropriate lead role.

The source said the project has reached an advanced stage of discussions and would feature Khan as a man in his 50s navigating a difficult phase in his career.

According to the source, the character meets a woman who runs a start-up, and the two eventually fall in love.

The report added that Khan had earlier declined another Bhansali project, believed to be Inshaallah, which was shelved after Salman Khan exited the film.

If confirmed, the project would mark a reunion between Khan and Bhansali after their 2002 blockbuster ‘Devdas.’

Khan is currently working on the action thriller ‘King,’ directed by Siddharth Anand.

The film also features Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji. (IANS)
