India-West News Desk
WASHINGTON, DC – Shivam Dhol Tasha Pathak, a distinguished drum ensemble based in Dallas, TX, has been invited to perform at the U.S. Presidential Parade on January 20, following the swearing-in of Donald Trump. Known for its vibrant fusion of traditional Indian rhythms and diverse global percussion styles, the group has performed at events such as the Howdy Modi rally, NBA and NHL halftime shows, and the opening ceremony of the ICC T20 World Cup.
The parade, featuring nearly 7,500 participants from 23 states, celebrates America’s diversity. Shivam Dhol Tasha Pathak will add a cultural dimension to the event, symbolizing the blending of traditional and modern American identities.

To cover expenses for travel, accommodation, and logistics for over 30 performers, the ensemble is seeking financial support. “This is more than a performance—it’s a moment of pride for our community and a testament to the enduring ties between the United States and India,” said a spokesperson for the group.
The group has launched a fundraising initiative, appealing to supporters in the Texan and Indian communities to ensure their participation. “This opportunity is a tremendous honor, and with the community’s support, we are ready to represent Texas, India, and the spirit of unity on this global stage,” the group stated.
