US Women’s Cricket Team Draws Hilarious Reactions: H1B Squad & India Squad!

LOS ANGELES, CA – USA Cricket has announced its 15-player squad for next month’s ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup in Malaysia, and there’s one major thing that stands out: every player, including the reserves, is of Indian American descent!
The team, a mix of seasoned players and fresh talent, aims to build on their strong debut performance in the 2023 U19 Women’s T20 World Cup, the organization said.
The squad will be led by Anika Kolan, who’ll continue as captain after a successful tour of the West Indies. Vice-Captain Aditiba Chudasama will bring much-needed experience to the squad..
The squad announcement quickly went viral on social media, where fans couldn’t help but notice the overwhelming Indian American presence. One user jokingly wrote, “India squad,” while another quipped, “So who was talking about H1B again?” Another humorously dubbed the team the “H-1B squad.”
