Guru Randhawa Brings Punjabi Vibe To Hip Hop

MUMBAI – Singer Guru Randhawa on his latest track “Six,” said the attempt was to bring together hip-hop culture with authentic Punjabi influences.

He said while he has always been drawn to hip-hop, he wanted to create a sound that reflects his roots and celebrates the energy of Punjabi music in a fresh way.

His long-term creative collaborator, Kiran Bajwa, added, “When Guru Randhawa and I first started working on the concept for ‘Six,’ we knew we wanted something that felt both gritty and triumphant.
