Kartik Aaryan Captures Parents’ Joy On Camera

MUMBAI-Actor Kartik Aaryan shared a heartwarming video capturing the emotional moment he and his family watched him being announced as a Best Actor winner at the 72nd National Film Awards.

As his name was announced as the Best Actor winner for ‘Chandu Champion’, the actor screamed with joy before embracing his parents. His mother also kissed him on the cheek as the family celebrated the achievement.

Sharing the video, the ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ actor wrote, “Still processing… Some moments are simply bigger than words, and this is one of them. A dream I’ve carried for years has finally come true. Forever humbled, forever grateful Best Actor National Award #ChanduChampion.”

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting announced the winners of the 72nd National Film Awards in New Delhi on July 18. Kartik shared the Best Actor award with Malayalam cinema icon Mammootty, who was honored for ‘Bramayugam’

Directed by Kabir Khan, ‘Chandu Champion’ is a biographical sports drama based on the life of India’s first Paralympic gold medalist, Murlikant Petkar. Kartik underwent a significant physical transformation to portray the decorated athlete. (IANS)
