Ajay Bhutoria Presents CA Assembly Proclamation To Dalai Lama In Leh

FREMONT, CA – Community activist Ajay Bhutoria met His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama in Leh, Ladakh, where he presented a Special Proclamation of Recognition on behalf of California State Assembly Member Alex Lee.

The proclamation recognizes the Nobel Peace Prize laureate’s lifelong commitment to non-violence, human rights and global peace.

Bhutoria, who visited the Dalai Lama’s residence to extend birthday greetings, also discussed compassion, human consciousness and the importance of empathy in responding to today’s global challenges.

“In a world increasingly divided by conflict and noise, sitting with His Holiness is a masterclass in stillness and unconditional love,” Bhutoria said. “His message remains timeless: global peace is impossible without inner peace, and compassion is the single most powerful force we possess.”

The Dalai Lama underscored the importance of warmheartedness and a sense of universal oneness, saying these values are essential to addressing the challenges confronting the world, according to Bhutoria.
