South Florida’s Priya Alavadi Crowned Mrs. Universe Elite Global

NEW JERSEY – South Florida-based technology leader and community advocate Priya Alavadi was crowned Mrs. Universe Elite Global 2026 on September 11 in New Jersey. Indian filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar crowned her at the event.

Alavadi had previously won the Mrs. Bharat USA Elite title in 2022. Over the four years between the two titles, she continued her technology career while raising her daughter and mentoring young adults and children.

She also helped organize pageant initiatives, including work connected with Miss Florida, and contributed to community programs, a press release said.

Alavadi said she plans to use her new platform for speaking, mentorship and community initiatives aimed at encouraging women to pursue dreams they may have put aside.

“Keep dreaming until your dreams come true — and even after they do, have another dream,” Alavadi said. “Your dream doesn’t need a reason. It needs a chance.”
