Actress Says Salman Was Abusive, Had Injured Aishwarya Rai Seriously

MUMBAI – Somy Ali recently compared her traumatic experiences with Salman Khan to the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi, stating that Khan’s behavior was “worse” than the gangster’s during their nearly eight-year relationship. Reflecting on why Khan remains on good terms with former girlfriends like Sangeeta Bijlani and Katrina Kaif but not with her, Somy explained, “The way Salman treated me, he didn’t treat anyone else. Sangeeta and Katrina were not abused as badly as I was.”

She further claimed that actress Aishwarya Rai also endured serious mistreatment, alleging that Khan may have fractured Rai’s shoulder during their relationship. However, Somy noted she was unsure of what might have happened between Khan and Kaif.

In her reflection on their tumultuous time together, Somy recounted an incident to IANS in an interview, in which Khan’s household help pleaded with him to stop hitting her. “I had acute back pain and was bedridden for a long time. Tabu saw my condition and cried, but Salman did not come to see me,” she said.

Somy revealed that she is considering writing a book about her experiences. Her relationship with Khan ended after he began seeing Aishwarya Rai.

In a recent Instagram post, she invited the incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi for a Zoom conversation, writing, “Trust me, this chat is for your own good. Give me your mobile number; it will be a great favor.” While concerned for Khan’s safety following a shooting incident near his home, Somy condemned the threats against him from the Bishnoi community, linked to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. She urged the community to forgive Khan, calling for reconciliation and an end to past grievances.
