Satya Nadella Meets Telangana CM Revanth Reddy In Hyderabad

HYDERABAD – Microsoft President Satya Nadella, a Hyderabad native, met with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on December 30 here to discuss the company’s continued growth and investment in the state. Nadella, accompanied by key Microsoft executives, was welcomed by CM Reddy and cabinet ministers D. Sridhar Babu, Uttam Kumar Reddy, and others.
Microsoft, which was one of the first major tech companies to establish a presence in Hyderabad, has expanded significantly over the years, now employing more than 10,000 people in the city. Additionally, the company has made a substantial investment in a 600 MW data center capacity in the state.
During the meeting, Reddy thanked Nadella for the company’s ongoing investments and its contribution to the growth of Hyderabad’s tech industry.
Nadella expressed Microsoft’s continued commitment to collaborating with the Telangana government on several initiatives.
He praised the Chief Minister’s vision for enhancing skills and infrastructure, emphasizing that these efforts are critical for positioning Hyderabad among the world’s top 50 cities for economic growth. Nadella highlighted the importance of these two factors in driving sustainable development and long-term prosperity for the region.

Satya Nadella is an outstanding leader and CEO of Microsoft, a multi trillion dollar Fortune 500 corporation. I am grateful to him for visiting India and giving good advice to the leaders of Telengana government. IBM India is the second largest private employer with 150,000 employees. I hope Microsoft in India can also expand and employ many thousands. I am proud of Satya Nadella. He graduated from ordinary high school and college in India and went to the US for higher education. While living and working for Microsoft in Seattle, Washington he obtained an MBA from the University of Chicago by flying to Chicago every weekend to attend classes. This is in addition to M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering he had obtained from the USA.
I am also happy Satya Nadella has started a national Cricket League in the USA.
