Aamir Khan Directed ‘Ghoongat Ki Aad Se’ In The Absence Of Director

MUMBAI-Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt revealed that Aamir Khan directed the iconic song ‘Ghoongat Ki Aad Se’ from the film ‘Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke’ when he was away shooting another schedule.

Sharing the anecdote, Mahesh Bhatt said, “I was actually in Jodhpur, probably busy with another schedule, and this song was supposed to be shot elsewhere; it’s a very important song in the film.”

He added, “I was there in Jodhpur and you won’t believe—this entire song was shot right on time, thanks to Saroj ji’s choreography and Aamir Khan’s direction. Even today, people still love this song.”

The song went on to become a major hit in the 1990s.

‘Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke’ featured Aamir Khan, Juhi Chawla, Kunal Kemmu, Navin Nishchal, Tiku Talsania, Dalip Tahil and Mushtaq Khan. (IANS)
