Sanaya Irani And BFF Drashti Dhami Have Emotional Drinking Reunion

MUMBAI-Television actress Sanaya Irani shared an emotional and light-hearted moment on social media as she reunited with her “drinking buddy” and close friend Drashti Dhami after a gap of one-and-a-half years.

In a video posted online, the ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ actress was seen mockingly wiping away tears with a napkin before Drashti Dhami appeared carrying two drinks.

“After 1.5 years of waiting for this moment, it finally happened,” read the text on the video. “My drinking buddy is back,” Sanaya Irani added in the clip. The actress captioned the post, “Waited 1.5 years for this comeback tour. (sic)”

Drashti Dhami had stayed away from drinking after becoming a mother. The actress welcomed her first child, a baby girl, with husband Neeraj Khemka on October 22, 2024.

Announcing the birth of their daughter earlier, the couple had shared a joint social media post that read, “Straight from heaven into our hearts. A whole new life, a whole new start.”

Sanaya Irani and Drashti Dhami are known for frequently sharing glimpses of their friendship on social media. Earlier in February, the two actresses spoke about how their friendship extended beyond parties and social outings, with Sanaya Irani sharing a clip about accompanying each other to doctors’ appointments and even picking up laundry together.

“Drashti Dhami our last hangout being the doctor and laundry,” Sanaya Irani had written at the time. Re-sharing the post on her Instagram Stories, Drashti Dhami responded, “Hahahaha we actually did this.” (IANS)
