Exes Kareena And Shahid Share Warm Hug At IIFA Event

MUMBAI-Actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor shared a warm hug during the IIFA press conference here on October 22, bringing attention to the former couple’s friendly interaction.

In a video from the event, Kareena spotted Shahid and leaned in to greet him with a hug and an air kiss. The co-stars of ‘Jab We Met’ exchanged pleasantries before going their separate ways.

The interaction recalled a similar moment at last year’s IIFA press conference, when Kareena embraced Shahid. The two were also seen chatting on stage alongside actors Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon and filmmaker Karan Johar.

Kareena and Shahid were in a relationship during the 2000s and were once among Bollywood’s most popular couples. They starred together in films such as ‘Fida’, ‘Chup Chup Ke’ and ‘Jab We Met’.

The 27th edition of the IIFA Weekend and Awards is scheduled to take place at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi on January 22 and 23, 2027.

Actors Varun Dhawan and Ananya Panday will host the ceremony alongside filmmaker Karan Johar and television host Manish Paul. Actors Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Janhvi Kapoor are expected to perform at the event. (IANS)
