Google Contacts now let users add & edit contacts from sidebar
San Francisco, (IANS) A new feature that will enable users to add new contacts and change current contacts from the “Contacts sidebar” has been revealed by Google for its contact management service, “Google Contacts.”
Previously, the only way to change or add a Google Contact was to go to “contacts.google.com,” the tech giant claimed in a Workspace Updates blog post.
This upgrade simplifies the contact management process, whether you wish to modify contacts more quickly or create contacts more quickly.
Expand the side panel in Google Workspace, launch the Contacts application, click on a contact, choose the “Edit” icon in the upper right, make your changes, and then choose the “Save” option. It will allow you to edit an existing contact.
On the other hand, to create a contact from scratch, open the Contacts programme from the vertical App bar on the right, select the “Create contact” option, type in the contact’s name and other details, and then click the “Save” option.
Moreover, there is no admin control over this feature.
The tech giant introduced its Illustrations tool, which let users to design a unique profile picture, to its contact management service on Android in December of last year.
