ICC Picks Four Indians For Women’s T20 World Cup Officiating Team
LONDON- Indian umpires Janani N, Vrinda Rathi and Gayathri Venugopalan have been named in the officiating panel for the 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, while Indian match referee GS Lakshmi has also been selected for the tournament beginning June 12 in Birmingham.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced an all-female panel of 14 umpires and four match referees for the 12-team tournament, which will feature 33 matches.
The 2026 edition marks the third consecutive Women’s T20 World Cup to feature an all-female panel of match officials.
Gayathri Venugopalan will make her Women’s T20 World Cup debut alongside Candace La Borde, Kerrin Klaaste and Shathira Jakir Jesy. (IANS)
