Manisha Koirala Gets Letter From Kate Middleton

MUMBAI – Kate Middleton recently sent a letter to actress Manisha Koirala, expressing her joy at Manisha’s cancer recovery.

The Princess of Wales, who announced she was cancer-free in September after completing chemotherapy, had shared in a video message that it was “a relief” to finish her treatment after nine challenging months in the public eye.

Manisha, who previously overcame stage IV ovarian cancer, spoke about the warmth of Kate’s letter. She said the princess had conveyed her happiness at learning that Manisha was now cancer-free and able to continue her professional and charitable pursuits.

In her letter, the Princess of Wales, who has received widespread public support since her own cancer diagnosis earlier this year, noted how the encouragement of others had been a significant source of strength throughout her journey.

Reflecting on Kate’s message, Manisha shared, “I wanted to reach out to HRH The Princess of Wales to send my good wishes, particularly given my own experiences. I am deeply heartened to receive such a warm response from her and wish her the very best of health.”
