Mindy Kaling Hosts Record-Breaking Biden Fundraiser With Obama, Clinton

NEW YORK, NY – The current President Joe Biden was joined in his reelection campaign in a fundraiser that drew former Democratic Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton on March 28 here at Radio City Music Hall, which is expected to raise more than $25 million.
The fundraiser that showed continuity in with all Democratic presidents on board and to show the lack of support Donald Trump has from many of the Republican guard including former Presidents was hosted by Indian American actress Mindy Kaling.
The event, also had fellow entertainers and moguls like Jeffrey Katzbery and Queen Latifah. The event was capped off with a discussion between the present and former presidents that was moderated by “The Late Show” host Stephen Colbert and featured all of them donning Biden’s signature Ray-Bans.
They discussed the economy, illegal immigration and the assault on the Capitol on January 6.
The fundraiser was interrupted by demonstrators protesting against the war in Gaza. Obama, who was speaking said, “You can’t just talk and not listen. It is also possible for us to have our hearts broken watching innocent people being killed and try to manage through that in a way that ultimately leads to both people being able to live in peace side by side. That is not an easy thing.”
The fundraiser, CBS said, illustrates the cash gap between Biden and Trump who is struggling with bills from lawyers and making payments on the cases he has been steadily losing.

I love Obama’s clear thinking and abhor the muddled thinking of the folks protesting against the war in Gaza but refusing to honor the right to free speech of others. What these protesters fail to realize is that they alienate the very people who can resolve their issues. What they do falls under the realm of “illiberal democracy”, which is as bad as autocracy.
I would also like to warn Democrats that just because they have an edge over Trump in fundraising it doesn’t mean that they can easily defeat Trump. Jeb Bush with all the money he had raised through fundraising couldn’t defeat Trump in the 2016 Republican primaries. Trump is a loser but good at lying, showcasing, and image building through a prudent use of the media, especially since he has had an extensive experience at being a reality TV star. He has elevated lying and deception to an art form and must not be underestimated.
