Monank Patel To Lead US Squad In T20 Series Against Canada

HOUSTON, TX – Monank Patel, the seasoned cricketer, will continue to steer USA Cricket’s 15-member men’s team in the upcoming pivotal five-match T20 international series against Canada, set to unfold from April 7 to 13, here, USA Cricket said.

The squad for the T20Is against Canada includes Monank Patel as captain and Aaron Jones as Vice-Captain. The team composition also features promising talents like Nisarg Patel and Noshtush Kenjige, indicating a blend of experience and emerging prowess.

Scheduled from April 7 to 13, the matches will take place at the Prairie View Cricket Complex.

Adding to the anticipation, two players from India—former Mumbai and Rajasthan Royals left-arm spinner Harmeet Singh and ex-Delhi and RCB batsman Milind Kumar—have been recruited into the USA squad.

Harmeet Singh, a pivotal figure in India’s Under-19 World Cup-winning team in 2012, transitioned to professional cricket in the US, notably leading his team, Seattle Thunderbolts, to victory in the MiLC in 2022. Similarly, Milind Kumar showcased his prowess playing for the Texas Super Kings in the MLC, underlining the growing stature of cricket in the United States.
