Ingredients

Yogurt Mixture

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic paste
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, to taste

Skewers

  • 1 pack Royal Microwaveable Tikka Masala Rice
  • 7 oz paneer, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 large onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tbsp oil

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, lemon juice, spices, olive oil, and salt.
  2. Add the paneer, bell peppers, and onion. Mix gently until everything is evenly coated in the yogurt mixture. Marinate for 30–60 minutes.
  3. Thread the paneer and vegetables onto skewers, alternating as desired.
  4. Heat a grill or grill pan and lightly grease with oil.
  5. Grill the skewers for 2–3 minutes per side, about 8–12 minutes total, until lightly charred and the vegetables are tender.
  6. Serve with Royal Microwaveable Tikka Masala Rice.
