Paneer Tikka
Ingredients
Yogurt Mixture
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 tbsp ginger paste
- 1/2 tbsp garlic paste
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt, to taste
Skewers
- 1 pack Royal Microwaveable Tikka Masala Rice
- 7 oz paneer, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 yellow bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 large onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 tbsp oil
Preparation
- In a large bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, lemon juice, spices, olive oil, and salt.
- Add the paneer, bell peppers, and onion. Mix gently until everything is evenly coated in the yogurt mixture. Marinate for 30–60 minutes.
- Thread the paneer and vegetables onto skewers, alternating as desired.
- Heat a grill or grill pan and lightly grease with oil.
- Grill the skewers for 2–3 minutes per side, about 8–12 minutes total, until lightly charred and the vegetables are tender.
- Serve with Royal Microwaveable Tikka Masala Rice.
