LOS ANGELES, CA – At the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show, the car maker Kia, on November 20, unveiled the 2027 Telluride, its flagship three-row SUV that combines capability, comfort, and technology in a single package.

“With the launch of the second-generation Telluride, our design and product planning team had an incredible challenge: Develop an all-new SUV that was its own, unique product, while encapsulating many of the elements that made the original Telluride a historic success,” said SeungKyu Sean Yoon, President and CEO of Kia North America. “The 2027 Telluride is a capable and sophisticated SUV that embodies our approach to bringing innovative, consumer-focused products to market.”

Step inside the Telluride, and the first thing you notice is the expansive cabin. The second-generation model offers more overall length, increased cargo space, and class-leading legroom and improved headroom, making every row comfortable. The available front relaxation seats feature leg rests and a driver massage function, while the second-row captain’s chairs are power-operated and climate-controlled. The cabin is designed to be quieter, creating a sanctuary-like environment for all passengers.

The Telluride blends power and efficiency with a standard turbocharged engine and an available turbo-hybrid producing up to 329 horsepower with a Kia-estimated 35 miles per gallon combined. With a total driving range of around 600 miles, it is capable of long-distance trips without compromise. For off-road or all-terrain adventures, the X-Pro trim adds wider tires, an advanced E-LSD system, a multi-terrain AWD mode, a Ground View Monitor, and 9.1 inches of ground clearance, making rugged exploration possible without sacrificing comfort.

Technology and connectivity are prominent throughout the interior. Every trim comes standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while available features include full LED Ground Lighting, compatible smartphone or smartwatch vehicle access, YouTube and Netflix streaming, and customizable display themes featuring all 30 NBA teams and select Disney brands. Convenience touches include a power tilt and telescope steering wheel with memory, heated seats for all three rows, and dual wireless phone chargers for front passengers.

Safety is comprehensive, with ten airbags including a front-row center airbag and an enhanced rigid body structure aimed at IIHS Top Safety Pick+ ratings. This gives drivers and passengers confidence on both urban roads and challenging terrain.

Look around and you notice the variety of trims available. LX, S, EX, SX, SX-Prestige, X-Line, and the adventure-ready X-Pro allow buyers to choose a Telluride that matches their lifestyle without sacrificing the core qualities of comfort, technology, and capability. Every trim is thoughtfully designed to provide space, convenience, and premium touches, while offering options for style, off-road readiness, or luxury-inspired features.

Expected to arrive in the United States in the first quarter of 2026, the 2027 Kia Telluride delivers a full package of luxury-style comfort, modern technology, hybrid efficiency, and rugged capability. It offers drivers and passengers a refined, connected, and spacious environment while ensuring performance and safety are never compromised. Every feature, from relaxation seats to off-road enhancements and advanced infotainment, is designed to make the Telluride both practical and enjoyable for any journey.
