NEW YORK, NY – With more than 70 exhibitors taking center stage at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, India has launched its largest-ever pavilion at the 2026 Summer Fancy Food Show, North America’s premier specialty food exhibition.

The record-breaking showcase, which runs from June 28-30, highlights a massive economic runway for Indian food exports. According to the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority, the North American market for Indian consumer packaged food is projected to reach $30-50 billion over the next ten years, fueled by a rising global appetite for authentic flavors and premium ingredients.

The India Pavilion was officially opened by Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, the Consul General of India in New York, alongside chef Vikas Khanna. The collaborative effort, organized by APEDA and the India Trade Promotion Organization under the Department of Commerce, aims to solidify India’s brand presence and bolster agricultural exports in the US.

A major highlight of this year’s pavilion is the Mango Showcase, which celebrates India’s status as the world’s leading mango producer by featuring six premium export varieties and innovative mango-based culinary creations. Additionally, a Basmati Culinary Showcase features a daily tasting menu curated by Michelin-starred chef Hemant Mathur.

The expansive exhibition floor features a wide array of diverse products from the country’s food processing sector, including ready-to-eat meals, spices, organic items, beverages, snacks, and frozen foods.

APEDA Chairman Abhishek Dev emphasized that the Summer Fancy Food Show offers an invaluable gateway for Indian brands to forge connections with global distributors and expand into high-end international markets.
