Ro Khanna Backs Jyot Singh For Georgia House Seat

ATLANTA, GA – Jyot Singh, candidate for Georgia State House District 97, has received an endorsement from U.S. Rep. Ro Khanna for his 2026 campaign.
Khanna (D-CA) announced his support for Singh in a post on X, saying he was proud to endorse him.
Singh posted in return, “Having the support of Congressman @RoKhanna means so much. Ro is a warrior for workers in Congress where he’s focused on building a government that works for working people and creates opportunity for everyone.”
Singh’s campaign lists endorsements from Congressmen Hank Johnson and Jonathan Jackson, Georgia State Sen. Josh McLaurin and state Reps. Eric Bell, Sam Park, Bryce Berry and Long Tran, along with other federal, state and local officials and organizations.
Indian American Impact, a national organization focused on increasing South Asian representation in U.S. politics, has also endorsed Singh for the race.
