Ramaswamy A Shining Presidential Candidate

Vivek Ramaswamy is a 37-year-old Hindu biotech entrepreneur turned Republican presidential candidate, who has been steadily garnering support in a party dominated by conservative Christians. In many polls, he’s in third place behind former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

After watching him discuss issues on all four TV networks on Sunday August 6th, I am very impressed by his intelligence and sensible solution to the problems, which most ordinary people will have a hard time grasp because they have fixed opinions. Think about Ramaswamy’s following opinions on major issues:

(1)  In his book, he gives a scathing critique of corporations that use social justice causes as a smokescreen for self-interested policies.

(2) He will pardon Trump to put “the grievances of the past behind us.”

(3)  He argues that American involvement in the war in Ukraine is because of President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden as a repayment for a private bribe of $5 million from Burisma, which alienated America from both Russia & China.

(4)  He says January 6 riots were the violent disruption of Congress’ election certification as the final domino effect that started far earlier and if he were president, he would not have allowed to have gotten situation that bad.

(5)  He is also proposing a constitutional amendment that would require citizens 18 to 24 to pass a civics test to vote — the same one immigrant take to become naturalized U.S. citizens.

(6)  He will secure Southern borders by building a wall and use the military if necessary to stop human trafficking and drug trafficking. He will also reinstate “remain Mexico” policy to discourage influx of migrants.

While Donald Trump enjoys strong polling numbers among the segment of the electorate that nominates the GOP candidate, only 34 percent of voters hold a positive view of him. That’s why Ramaswamy needs to align himself with DeSantis early on before the first primary takes place. Together they will not only clinch the nomination but also win the election on November 8th, 2024.
