Prior To Grammys, Chris Martin Takes Dip In Triveni Sangam

PRAYAGRAJ, (ANI) – Coldplay’s lead singer Chris Martin, along with his girlfriend, actress Dakota Johnson, took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam during the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on February 1. 

This was just prior to the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, where Chris sang while honoring noting the passing of notable music industry figures.

In visuals surfacing online, Chris was seen in black shorts, while Dakota wore a kurta and trousers. The couple, dressed in saffron attire, appeared excited as they made their way through the crowd.

Chris arrived in Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh Mela on January 27. He and Dakota had come to India on January 16 for Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour, which included concerts in Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

Their last Indian show took place at Ahmedabad on India’s Republic Day. Chris paid tribute to India by singing patriotic tracks such as Vande Mataram and Maa Tujhhe Salaam, which captivated the audience, drawing loud cheers and applause.
