Song For Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ Features An Epic 1,000-Dancers

HYDERABAD – Director Buchi Babu Sana’s much-anticipated action drama Peddi, starring Telugu superstar Ram Charan, is making headlines for mounting one of the grandest song sequences in Indian cinema — featuring an astonishing 1,000 dancers.

The massive production, currently being filmed in Mysore, is choreographed by Jani Master and set to a pulsating mass number composed by Academy Award-winning music director AR Rahman. Designed as the grand introduction of Ram Charan’s character, the song is being shot on an unprecedented scale, promising a visual spectacle for fans.

On the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi, when most film units took the day off, the Peddi team continued shooting, soaking in the festive atmosphere while keeping their focus on the monumental sequence. Industry insiders say the 1,000-dancer performance is set to be one of the film’s defining highlights and a nationwide crowd-puller.

The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, with Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma, and Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar in pivotal roles. Editing is handled by National Award-winner Navin Nooli, with Avinash Kolla overseeing production design. (IANS)
