SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Global technology leaders, including Apple CEO Tim Cook, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, extended their Diwali greetings on October 20.

Tim Cook shared a “stunning” Diwali photo captured by Mumbai-based photographer Apeksha Maker, noting that it was taken with the new iPhone 17 Pro Max. “Wishing a joyful and healthy Diwali to all celebrating around the world! Thanks to Apeksha Maker for sharing this stunning photo taken on iPhone 17 Pro Max,” he wrote.

Apeksha, co-founder of House of Pixels, is a celebrity photographer known for bridging commercial and conceptual photography. She encouraged users to make the most of their iPhones by shooting as much as possible on the go, highlighting the new iPhone 17 series’ ability to capture life in any lighting condition. For the best results, she advised tapping to focus and adjusting exposure by holding the tap and sliding the finger up or down.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai brought a playful touch to his Diwali wishes. Posting on Instagram, he blended culture and creativity by comparing the iconic Google logo to the festive sweet barfi. “Obviously this is the only way we serve the barfi in my house,” he wrote. “Wishing everyone a Happy Diwali filled with light, joy, and your favorite festive treats (Google-themed or otherwise!).”

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk kept his greeting simple, reposting a Diwali message that said “Happy Diwali,” while tagging Tesla India’s post, which wished citizens an “electrifying and safe Diwali.” Tesla has begun delivering the standard Model Y to customers in India, with deliveries of the Long-Range variant starting soon. In August, the company inaugurated its first showroom in the National Capital Region, marking its second retail location in India after Mumbai. (with IANS inputs)
