Shri Thanedar’s Social Media Jab At Stephen Miller Goes Viral

WASHINGTON, DC – US Rep.Shri Thanedar (D-MI), drew widespread online attention after a pointed social media exchange with Katie Miller, former government press secretary and podcaster, led to a viral post involving her husband, Stephen Miller.

The exchange began when Katie Miller wrote on X, “Liberal men aren’t attractive,” in response to a post citing data about childlessness among liberal men.

Thanedar responded by sharing an image of Stephen Miller, the White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, and writing: “Meanwhile, this is your husband.”

The post received more than 4.5 million views within hours and prompted mixed reactions across social media. Some users criticized the exchange for focusing on personal appearance rather than policy differences and attacking the congressman’s looks, while others defended the response.

Thanedar has frequently criticized allies of Donald Trump through social media and public statements, noted Newsweek. He has called on the Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment, describing the president as “a threat to our country and to the world” and saying he should be removed from office immediately.

Earlier, Thanedar also introduced articles of impeachment against Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, stating the secretary’s actions were “not just reprehensible but illegal as well.”
