Pooja Batra’s Los Angeles-Backed ‘Echoes Of Us’ Earns Cannes Showcase

LOS ANGELES, CA –Actress-producer Pooja Batra expressed gratitude after her short film ‘Echoes Of Us’ was screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, which began on May 12.

The film is produced by Glowbellinc, the Los Angeles-based production house helmed by Pooja Batra, giving the project an Indo-American connection at the global film event.

Pooja shared pictures from the French Riviera on Instagram along with Romanian television personality and singer Iulia Vantur and actor Deepak Tijori.

She also thanked the Cannes Marche du Film team, director Joe Rajan, and the crew behind the project.

‘Echoes Of Us’ explores themes of love, loss, and human connection. The film stars Deepak Tijori and Spanish actress Alessandra Whelan Merediz and is written and directed by Joe Rajan.

Pooja Batra gained prominence after winning the Miss India International title in 1993 and later appeared in films such as ‘Virasat’, ‘Haseena Maan Jayegi’, and ‘Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story’, which was screened at Cannes in 2004. (IANS)
