Epic Kannappa To Premiere Across 100+ U.S. Theaters

LOS ANGELES, CA — The upcoming Indian historical action epic Kannappa is set to make its U.S. debut with a grand premiere on June 26. Special Telugu-language screenings will be held in over 100 AMC and Cinemark theaters across the country, marking one of the most expansive Pan-Indian film launches in North America this summer.

Distributed by Vasaraa Entertainment, the film will open in major metro areas and key diaspora centers, including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, Orlando, and Seattle. The premiere marks a significant milestone for the film’s international rollout, with a particular focus on Telugu-speaking audiences and broader Indian diaspora communities.

Starring Vishnu Manchu in the lead role, Kannappa also features an ensemble cast of Indian cinema heavyweights—Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, and Kajal Aggarwal—appearing in never-before-seen roles. The film blends high-octane action, emotion, and spiritual themes into a visually ambitious retelling of devotion and transformation.

Produced by veteran actor Mohan Babu under the 24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment banners and directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa is slated for a worldwide release on June 27, 2025. The film will be released in multiple Indian languages, with Vasaraa Entertainment handling global distribution.
