FBI Seeks Indian In Cross Border Drug Trafficking Conspiracy

LOS ANGELES, CA – The FBI is seeking the public’s help in locating an Indian national wanted on federal drug trafficking charges linked to an alleged transnational criminal organization operating across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
According to the FBI, 30-year-old Amritpal Singh is wanted for his alleged involvement in a conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances, as well as a conspiracy to export controlled substances.
Investigators allege Singh was part of the Ravinder Dhanda Organized Crime Group, a Vancouver, Canada based organization accused of smuggling bulk quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine for drug trafficking organizations throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The FBI said a federal arrest warrant for Singh was issued on June 23by the US District Court for the Central District of California in Los Angeles. He has been charged with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances.
According to the FBI, Singh was born on January 7, 1996. He is described as an Indian national with black hair, brown eyes, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 135 pounds.
The FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office is leading the investigation and is asking anyone with information about Singh’s whereabouts to contact their local FBI office, the nearest US embassy or consulate, or submit a tip through the FBI’s online tip portal.
