Kangana To Make Hollywood Debut In Horror Drama

LOS ANGELES, CA  (ANI)- Kangana Ranaut is set to make her Hollywood debut with a lead role in the horror drama Blessed Be the Evil, reported Variety. She will star alongside Teen Wolf actor Tyler Posey and Tulsa King star Scarlet Rose Stallone.

Production is scheduled to begin this summer in New York. According to Variety, U.S. locations were selected to avoid complications from the recently announced Trump industry tariffs.

The film will be directed by Anurag Rudra, who co-wrote the screenplay with Gatha Tiwary, president and founder of Lions Movies.

The story follows a Christian couple who, after suffering a devastating miscarriage, move to an abandoned farm with a dark history—only to face a malevolent force that tests their love and faith.

Director Rudra, who spent his early years in rural India, shared his inspiration:
“Growing up in rural India, I heard stories that stayed with me. This folklore felt so real and special that I wanted to share it with the world through cinema—the most powerful bridge between dreams and reality.”

Posey, familiar with the horror genre, previously appeared in Truth or Dare. Stallone, daughter of Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin, has acted in films like Reach Me and more recently The Gunslingers alongside Nicolas Cage.
