Lauki Ka Halwa
Ingredients
| Ingredient | Measure |
| Bottle gourd (grated) | 1 medium size |
| Sugar | ¼ cup |
| Ghee (clarified butter) | 1 tbsp |
| Coconut powder | 1 tsp |
| Cardamom (powder) | ¼ tsp |
Method
- Grate the bottle gourd.
- Heat the ghee in a pan and fry the grated bottle gourd.
- Allow to simmer for 20 minutes, covered with a lid. Stir occasionally.
- Add the sugar and cardamom powder. Stir-cook the mixture until the ghee starts separating from the halwa.
- Cool the halwa, then sprinkle coconut powder on top before serving.
