Modi Marks Vivek Vance’s Birthday During Paris Meeting With US Veep

WASHINGTON, DC – Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Vice President JD Vance in Paris on February 11, and talked among other things about energy cooperation, but it was a personal moment that stole the spotlight. During the meeting, Modi extended birthday wishes to Vance’s son, Vivek, and presented gifts to the Vance children.

“Had a wonderful meeting with US Vice President JD Vance and his family. We had a great conversation on various subjects. Delighted to join them in celebrating the joyous birthday of their son, Vivek!” Modi posted on X.

The Vance family, including Second Lady Usha Vance, shared coffee with Modi during the gathering. Vice President Vance expressed his appreciation, stating, “Prime Minister Modi was gracious and kind, and our kids really enjoyed the gifts. I’m grateful to him for the wonderful conversation.”
