‘Naatu Naatu’ In Oscar Race For Best Original Song

LOS ANGELES, CA – The peppy dance number ‘Naatu Naatu’ composed by M.M. Keeravani and penned by Chandrabose is now vying for the top music honor at the Oscar Awards.

The high-energy rendition of the number is by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava and the unique choreography by Prem Rakshith,

Celebrating the nomination of ‘Naatu Naatu‘, NTR Jr wrote, “Congratulations @MMKeeravaani Garu and @boselyricist Garu on achieving another well-deserved and monumental feat… This song will forever hold a special place in my heart.”

Ram Charan tweeted, “What brilliant news! Truly an honour to see “Naatu Naatu” nominated for the Oscars. Another very proud moment for us & India. Well deserved @MMKeeravaani Garu, @SSRajamouli Garu, my brother @tarak9999and the entire team of #RRR All love.”

The two actors danced in shiny suspenders in ‘Naatu Naatu’ and it has become a celebratory anthem for most Indians.

The song has already won a Golden Globe for Best Original Song.

Composer Keeravani tweeted, “Congratulations to my team! Big hugs to all.”

In ‘RRR’, the SS Rajamouli film where the song plays, NTR Jr and Ram Charan play freedom fighters taking on the British empire. (ANI & IANS)
