Ram Charan Says Dad’s Contributions To Cinema, Society Shaped Him

MUMBAI, (IANS) – Star Ram Charan while congratulating his father Chiranjeevi on being feted with the Padma Vibhushan said that his contribution to Indian cinema and society has played an instrumental role in shaping him. “You are an impeccable citizen of this great nation,” he posted.

Chiranjeevi has been awarded the Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian honor in the country.

Chiranjeevi said, “After hearing this news, I became speechless. I am really overwhelmed, humbled, and grateful. It is only the unconditional love of the audience, my friends, my blood brothers, and sisters. I owe this life and moment to you. I have always tried to express my gratitude in the ways I can. But nothing can ever be enough.”

The Padma Awards 2024 were announced on January 25.
