Salman Khan Sends Legal Notice To Makers Of ‘Kala Hiran’
MUMBAI- Days after the makers unveiled the first-look poster of ‘Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy,’ a film based on the blackbuck poaching case involving Salman Khan, the Bollywood superstar’s legal team has sent a notice seeking to halt its release.
According to the notice, the film’s makers have been asked to halt its release and remove all promotional material, including posters and other publicity content. The legal notice also carries a warning that further legal action will be initiated against the concerned parties if the demands are not met.
The film is directed by Bharat S. Shrinet and produced by Amit Jani of Jani Firefox Media Private Limited. Jani has previously been in the spotlight for backing several controversial projects, including films based on the Kanhaiya Lal murder case.
The news about Salman Khan’s blackbuck case being adapted into a film was announced on May 29.
Following the legal dispute, uncertainty has grown over the future and release of ‘Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy.’ (IANS)
