Tanishq – Bibhu Mohapatra Debut Fall 2026 Jewelry Collaboration At NYFW

NEW YORK, NY-Indian jewelry brand Tanishq returned to New York Fashion Week for the Fall 2026 season, collaborating once again with designer Bibhu Mohapatra to present statement jewelry integrated into a couture runway collection.

The Fall 2026 showcase marked the third collaboration between Tanishq and Mohapatra. The partnership focused on positioning jewelry as a central design element rather than an accessory, with bold necklaces, earrings, gold arm cuffs and large-scale diamond pieces featured prominently alongside Mohapatra’s silhouettes.

According to Tanishq, the pieces were curated from across its design heritage and selected to align closely with garment construction and movement on the runway. The jewelry was designed to interact with posture and motion, reinforcing its role within the overall presentation.

Mohapatra said the collaboration was rooted in shared cultural references. “I continue to collaborate with Tanishq because our partnership is rooted in celebrating India’s artistic legacy and bringing it to the world,” he said. Referring to his Fall 2026 collection inspired by the Brahmavadini, Mohapatra described the integration as a natural convergence of heritage and modern design.

In a statement, Amrit Pal Singh, Business Head, Tanishq USA, said the collaboration reflects the brand’s strategy to integrate jewelry more directly into global fashion narratives. “For Fall 2026, we curated pieces from across our design heritage to integrate directly with Bibhu Mohapatra’s silhouettes, demonstrating how craftsmanship and contemporary couture can function as one cohesive medium,” Singh said. He added that such partnerships allow the brand to reach international audiences while balancing innovation and legacy.
