Tara Sreekrishnan’s Assembly Campaign Gets Key Endorsement

SANTA CLARA, CA – Tara Sreekrishnan’s campaign for the State Assembly has secured a noteworthy endorsement from the Santa Clara County Firefighters Local 1165.

Expressing gratitude for the support, Sreekrishnan pledged to continue working closely with them to address pivotal public safety issues affecting the community. The endorsement aligns with Sreekrishnan’s commitment to tackling challenges such as housing affordability, climate change, traffic congestion, and strengthening the education system in Silicon Valley.

A native of the district and a child of immigrants, Sreekrishnan, who founded a non-profit organization empowering students in environmental sciences and conservation, emphasizes the crucial connection between quality education and job opportunities.

Currently serving as a Trustee on the Santa Clara County Board of Education, overseeing a vast student body, and managing a substantial budget, Sreekrishnan brings a wealth of experience and understanding, the campaign said.

Sreekrishnan has a degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Goldman School of Public Policy, and she has been Deputy Chief of Staff & Legislative Director in the California State Senate.
