Tiger Amidst Trash? Randeep Hooda Shares Jarring Video Of Forest Waste

MUMBAI- Actor Randeep Hooda has drawn attention to plastic pollution in forest areas through a social media post highlighting the threat waste poses to wildlife and natural habitats.

The actor, known for his work in ‘Sarbjit’, ‘Sultan’, ‘Jannat 2’, ‘Extraction’, ‘Laal Rang’ and ‘Highway’, shared a video of a tiger drinking water from a pond.

While the scene appeared serene at first, the video also showed plastic waste in and around the forest area, underlining how human negligence is reaching even fragile ecosystems.

“It’s beautiful… till it’s not! The wild doesn’t need our plastic. It needs our respect,” Hooda wrote in the caption.

Through the post, he highlighted the need for visitors to avoid leaving plastic and other waste behind in forests.

This is not the first time Hooda has spoken about environmental responsibility. He has previously supported conservation and clean-up efforts in Madhya Pradesh, Versova beach in Mumbai and Punjab.

Earlier, the actor shared another video showing him cleaning plastic and garbage from the banks of a river, stressing the importance of taking responsibility for public spaces and the environment.

Hooda said, “I believe environmental responsibility always starts with individual effort and everyday choices. It’s easy to make blanket statements and preach, but nothing is more important than action, one that is tangible.”

“Over the years, I’ve tried to live close to nature, support wildlife conservation, and stay mindful of how my actions impact the environment. Whether it’s reducing waste, cleaning up a space, or being conscious about where we discard plastic, these very small steps matter,” he added. (IANS)
