‘Ramayana’ Stars Ranbir And Yash To Feature At San Diego Comic-Con

SAN DIEGO, CA -Leading Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor and Kannada superstar Yash were spotted at Mumbai airport on the night of July 21 as they departed for the US ahead of director Nitesh Tiwari’s mythological epic ‘Ramayana’, which is set for a major presentation at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC).

The two actors will join director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra for an exclusive ‘Ramayana’ panel at San Diego Comic-Con on July 23. Scheduled in Ballroom 20, one of the convention’s largest venues, the session will offer audiences a first look at the film.

‘Ramayana’ is only the second Indian film after ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ to receive a major showcase at the annual pop culture convention. The Comic-Con presentation comes days after the film’s trailer was unveiled at a launch event in New Delhi.

Made on a reported budget of Rs 4,000 crore, the two-part film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Ravana and Sai Pallavi as Sita. The ensemble cast also includes Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, Rakul Preet Singh as Surpanakha, Kajal Agarwal as Mandodari, Kunal Kapoor, Arun Govil, Sheeba Chaddha and Adinath Kothare.

The first installment of ‘Ramayana’ is scheduled for release during Diwali 2026, with the second part slated to arrive in Diwali 2027.
