US Embassy Issues Visa Warning Amidst Row Over Russian Oil Imports
India-West News Desk
NEW DELHI- The US Embassy in India has issued a stern warning to visa holders to respect their authorized period of stay, coinciding with renewed political pressure from American leaders on India’s energy trade with Russia.
In a post on X, the US Embassy cautioned that overstaying an I-94 “Admit Until Date” could lead to “severe consequences such as visa revocation, possible deportation, and ineligibility for future visas.” This came as US President Donald Trump and Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene targeted India’s policies.
Greene, from Georgia’s 14th District, posted on X calling to “End Indian H1-B visas replacing American jobs instead and stop funding and sending weapons to the Obama/Biden/Neocon Ukraine Russia war.” Her comments referenced a statement by Trump, who on August 4 threatened to “substantially” raise tariffs on India.
Writing on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “They don’t care how many people in Ukraine are being killed by the Russian War Machine,” and concluded his post by stating he would be raising tariffs. (with ANI inputs)

Excellent job by Trump. These arrogant Indian politicians, especially illiterate Modi must be taught a lesson. These people do not care for lives being lost and women being raped in Ukraine, the only thing they need is cheap oil.

Wow! What an epitome of twisted logic! How in the world India could be responsible for deaths in Ukraine? Foreign governments have no business to interfere with India’s internal affairs. Think about it again!
