India-West Staff Reporter
NEW YORK, NY – Child Rights and You America (CRY America), has announced the launch of its annual CRY Walk series across the country. The event aims to raise funds and awareness for children who are denied basic rights and opportunities.
The CRY Walk 2025 series will take place in multiple cities, including Los Angeles, Seattle, New Jersey, Boston, Houston, and San Diego, from mid-July through mid-November. Each event features a 5k walk, along with activities for participants and refreshments.
Shefali Sunderlal, President of CRY America, highlighted the walk’s mission. “We invite everyone — children, parents, and grandparents — to join our local city walks to ensure that underprivileged children realize their dreams,” Sunderlal said. “If we all come together and address children’s issues with a sense of urgency, then no child will remain illiterate, malnourished, or exploited.”
The organization, supported by over 35,000 donors and 2,000 volunteers, has impacted the lives of 825,000 children through 111 projects in India and the US.
