Kashmera Shah Apologizes To Sunita Ahuja In Emotional Reunion

MUMBAI-An emotional reunion unfolded on the sets of cooking reality show ‘Celebrity Laughter Chefs’ as Sunita Ahuja, wife of Bollywood actor Govinda, made a surprise appearance, leaving her nephew Krushna Abhishek overwhelmed in tears.

In a video shared by the show’s broadcaster, actor-comedian Krushna Abhishek was seen visibly shocked as Sunita entered the stage. He broke down emotionally, lay on the floor and apologized to his “mami” for any pain caused over the years.

Responding to his apology, Sunita said Krushna was like her own son and that she forgave him, urging everyone to move forward.

Krushna then said forgiveness was needed for two people, subtly referring to his wife, actress Kashmera Shah.

Kashmera was also seen getting emotional, breaking down in tears and apologizing to Sunita over past issues and public mudslinging. She said, “I am sorry.”

A few days earlier, Sunita, Krushna and Kashmera were seen laughing together on the sets of the show, where she said she considers them family and was willing to let bygones be bygones.

Govinda was not seen in the video.

The rift between Sunita and Krushna, along with Kashmera, dates back nearly 14 years and had often played out in public.

Sunita is married to Bollywood actor Govinda, while Krushna is the son of Govinda’s elder sister and had once shared a close bond with the actor.

Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah are currently appearing as celebrity participants on ‘Celebrity Laughter Chefs’. (IANS)
