Adnan Sami Gives ‘Lipstick’ A Soulful New Twist

MUMBAI-Padma Shri awardee singer-composer Adnan Sami has released the deluxe version of his recent hit single ‘Lipstick’, offering listeners a softer and more soulful interpretation of the track.

Released by Zee Music Company, the new version reimagines the original song, which gained popularity for its upbeat energy and contemporary sound.

Speaking about the deluxe version, Sami said revisiting and reworking his own compositions is one of the joys of being a musician.

“The joy of being a musician is truly something special. Playing with my musical compositions, feeling them, and immersing myself in the music is a different kind of addiction,” he said.

The singer revealed that the new version emerged from a late-night creative session.

“In that very spirit, one night at 3 a.m., I began experimenting with my song ‘Lipstick’ in a completely new style, a fresh musical arrangement and a different vibe altogether. And just like that, a new color emerged,” he added.

Announcing the release on social media, Sami wrote, “The vibe you loved just got even better Lipstick Deluxe Version – Out Now.” (IANS)
