California Student Caitlin Sandra Neil Crowned Miss India USA

FORDS, NJ – Chennai-born 19-year-old Caitlin Sandra Neil, was crowned Miss India USA 2024 at the annual pageant held on December 15 in New Jersey. Neil is a second-year Cognitive Science student at the University of California, Davis, with a focus on computational science.
The pageant, held at Royal Albert’s Palace in Fords, New Jersey, marked the 42nd edition of the prestigious event, making it the longest-running Indian pageant outside of India and is founded by New York-based Dharmatma and Neelam Saran under the Worldwide Pageants banner.
The event saw 47 contestants from 25 states competing in three categories.
The first and second runner-up titles in the Miss India USA category were awarded to Nirali Desia from Illinois and Manini Patel from New Jersey, respectively.
In addition to the Miss India USA competition, Sanskriti Sharma of Illinois was crowned Mrs. India USA, and Arshia Kathpalia of Washington claimed the title of Miss Teen India USA.
In the teen category, Dhriti Patel of Rhode Island and Sonali Sharma also earned first and second runner-up honors. Sapna Mishra of Virginia and Chinmayee Ayachit of Connecticut were named first and second runner-up in the Mrs. India USA competition.
