JAIPUR (ANI)- The documentary Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous clinched the Best Docu-Series/Film award at the IIFA Digital Awards 2025, held in Jaipur. Directed by Mozez Singh and produced by Sikhya Entertainment, the film offers an exclusive insight into the life of renowned singer Hirdesh Singh, better known as Yo Yo Honey Singh. It chronicles his rapid rise in the music industry, the challenges he faced, and the controversies surrounding his career.

Sikhya Entertainment, famous for producing Oscar-winning projects, brought the documentary to life with Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain at the helm. Deepa Bhatia handled the editing, while Raunaq Bajaj served as associate producer.

Honey Singh is widely regarded as a pioneer in Indian hip-hop and Bollywood music, delivering chart-topping hits like Chaar Bottle VodkaLungi DanceBrown Rang, and Desi Kalakaar. However, his career faced a significant setback when he withdrew from the public eye for several years, only to later reveal his struggles with mental health.

The documentary sheds light on his personal and professional challenges while celebrating his triumphant return to the music scene. Singh recently released Maniac from his album Glory, featuring actress Esha Gupta and a Bhojpuri verse by Ragini Vishwakarma.
